For faculty who are new to teaching with Blackboard Ultra, getting started may feel overwhelming. During this webinar, Instructional Technology staff will review the basics of Ultra to ensure your course is ready for the first day of the semester! 

Topics covered will include: 
  • Content
    • Create learning modules and folders 
    • Upload content 
    • Externally link to cloud storage
  • Communication
    • Add instructor contact information 
    • Post announcements and send student emails
    • Create discussion boards 
  • Gradebook
    • Create and grade assignments
    • Set up the grade book to match your grading schema

At least 10 registrants are needed for the session to proceed as scheduled. The session will be recorded if three or more people attend and the link will be distributed to everyone who registered. All recordings are posted to the Instructional Technology Training Archive in Panopto.

This webinar will take place in a Microsoft Teams virtual conference room. To maximize your MS Teams experience, installing the Microsoft Teams application on your computer (whether university-owned or personal device) is recommended.
